In Patch 2.3, one of the many things being added to RIFT is another new personal dimension. This one’s also based off the popularly-requested Moonshade Highlands map and is called Three Springs. Three Springs is a fairly large dimension based on the Three Springs area of the in-game zone, of course, and it comes with a gorgeous bit of interior space. The Assembly House in Three Springs is completely accessible, which will give dimensioneers some pretty cool options.
The key for Three Springs will set you back 300 Plat and can be purchased at the vendor with all the other dimension keys in Tempest Bay. The dimension itself comes with a 1000-item limit. And the best part? Three Springs is currently available on the Player Test Shard for us to check out. Keep reading for our screenshot preview.
While Three Springs is a personal dimension, it kind of gives off an aura of being a guild dimension due to its location. This might make it a perfect gathering spot for friends and events. The area directly outside the Assembly House that usually serves as an NPC area is included as well as the stone walkway leading northward on the original map and the nearby rock outcropping. The full hillside of the immediate area is included as well as the smaller hill toward the back. The pathway in the back leading down to the water’s edge is included, but the dock and the actual water, unfortunately, are not. The view is sure pretty, though.
Here is a selection of screenshots featuring the empty dimension. We’ve included a few that show off where exactly the dimension boundaries are, so you can get a feeling for how large the general area is. Click each of the smaller pictures to bring up the full-size versions.
In addition to the new dimension, there are also three new landscaping items on the PTS that can be purchased from Poma Suno, who is the landscaping dimension goods vendor all the way across from the entrance to Storm Breaker Protocol in Tempest Bay:
Mossy Hut – 120 Plat
Mossy House – 120 Plat
Large Mossy House – 300 Plat
Additionally, there is a Mossy Village Kit that players can buy that contains 5 huts, 2 houses, and 1 large house. This kit costs a whole 1150 Plat.
We haven’t included screenshots of the huts yet because all three are currently placeholder items in-game. The current models don’t allow players to enter the interiors. According to this forum post by Faratha, the real models, which are still being worked on, will allow players to enter the huts and decorate the interiors as well as the exteriors. Hooray!
