Daglar’s been keeping a pretty close eye on the RIFT PvP community lately what with adding in recent alternative mode Warfronts and addressing the game’s PvP issues in multiple forum posts. This week Daglar’s making yet another leap forward in the quest to strengthen the PvP community with the re-addition of PvP dailies. That’s right– PvP dailies are back.
The dailies popped up on the PTS yesterday for us to preview and are found in Tempest Bay with the rest of the PvP NPCs. The best news? Daglar announced yesterday that these dailies will be added in this Wednesday. Keep reading for a preview of the new daily quests.
First, here’s what Daglar had to say regarding the reintroduction of PvP dailies and some thoughts on PvP content– both past and future– in general. He remarked briefly on one player’s suggestion of Trion adding PvP Instant Adventures to the game as well.

We were trying with things like PvP Rifts, Daily Quests, Conquest due to my pushing, along with other dev team members pushing. PvP RIFTs were unfortunately a failure.
Also, there are PvP daily quests coming this Wed – because I re-prioritized someones work. I’m pretty well known for not just waiting till major patches to release new content if it is needed.
PvP IA is a great idea (one that the dev team has been pitching since IA went in) – however, its not a trivial one to implement and we absolutely need to have cross server IA before even considering that.
Now, more on the new dailies being added this Wednesday. There are currently four, all of which take place in Steppes of Infinity. Whether or not there will be different dailies and/or locations in the daily rotation remains to be seen. They will reward Freelancer’s Marks of Conquest, Favor, Prestige, coin, XP, and– upon Daglar’s request– Infinity Stones. The Infinity Stones part isn’t currently previewing on the PTS, but a request was made to have some added to the rewards.
Here is a preview of all four daily quests as well as a screenshot showcasing the exact rewards (minus the Infinity Stones, of course):
